Yet another ZZ Top cover: I Need You Tonight, from the awesome album Eliminator. This has always been one of my favourite ZZ Top songs, and it's fantastic fun to play over. I hope you enjoy it.

I used my Ash Customworks custom guitar ( http://www.ashcustomworks.com )through my ProCo RAT2, into my iMac, running Garageband. LAConvolver applied impulse responses of a JCM2000, and I stuck a oodles and poodles of delay on the lead track.

Magnifique live au Festival de Fès (Maroc).
Enregistré à l'été 2011, Ben Harper nous à fait encore une fois, voyager sur une autre planète !!
La qualité acoustique des enregistrements de toutes ses prestations qui s'ajoute à son talent, mais aussi des musiciens d'exceptions dont Ben à l'oreille bien chevronnée pour savoir dénicher les musiciens au fort(s) potentiel(s)..
Le groupe de musicien avec lequel il joue dans ce live est "Relentless7", un groupe rock avec lequel Ben Harper est en collaboration depuis 2009.
La force de Ben est qu'il est toujours en tournée et se refuse au maximum aux grands médias, c'est pour cette raison que l'on aperçoit que rarement une chanson de cette artiste qui pourtant à sortit son premier album en 1992;

Francis Hillman "Scrapper" Blackwell was born in Syracuse, North Carolina, United States, February 21, 1903, as one of sixteen children of Payton and Elizabeth Blackwell. Part Cherokee, he grew up and spent most of his life in Indianapolis, Indiana. Blackwell was given the nickname, "Scrapper", by his grandmother, due to his fiery nature. His father played the fiddle, but Blackwell was a self-taught guitarist, building his first guitar out of cigar boxes, wood and wire. He also learned the piano, occasionally playing professionally. By his teens, Blackwell was a part-time musician, traveling as far as Chicago. Known for being withdrawn and hard to work with, Blackwell established a rapport with pianist Leroy Carr, whom he met in Indianapolis in the mid-1920s, creating a productive working relationship. Carr convinced Blackwell to record with him for the Vocalion label in 1928; the result was "How Long, How Long Blues", the biggest blues hit of that year...
...On October 7, 1962 he was shot and killed during a mugging in an Indianapolis alley. He was 59 years old. Although the crime remains unsolved, police arrested his neighbour at the time for the murder. Blackwell is buried in New Crown Cemetery, Indianapolis.
